TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to all services and goods provided by Alro Air & Electrical. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms.

2. Definitions

– “Company” refers to Alro Air & Electrical.  

– “Customer” refers to the party receiving the goods or services.  

– “Agreement” refers to the contract formed when a customer accepts a quotation or otherwise authorizes the Company to commence services.  

– “Goods” refers to any parts or materials supplied as part of the services.  

– “Services” refers to the work and/or goods provided by the Company, including electrical and air conditioning services.  

– “Price” refers to the total cost of services and goods as outlined in the quotation or as agreed in writing.  

– “Quotation” refers to the price and details provided by the Company before the Customer agrees to proceed with the services. 

3. Formation of Agreement

– An agreement between the Company and the Customer is established once the Customer accepts the Company’s quotation, either in writing or verbally, or by authorizing the work to commence.  

– Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.  

4. Customer Obligations

– The Customer must provide accurate information about the required services.  

– The Customer is responsible for ensuring safe and adequate access to the worksite and compliance with health and safety laws.  

– The Customer agrees to provide the Company with any necessary resources (e.g., power or water) needed to carry out the services.  

5. Pricing and Payment

– All prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless otherwise stated.  

– The Customer is required to pay a deposit as specified in the quotation before the commencement of the services.  

– Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. 

6. Variations to Work

– If the Customer requests changes to the scope of the services, the Company will provide a revised quotation or estimate.  

– No additional work will be carried out without the Customer’s written approval of the variation and any associated costs.

7. Completion of Work

– The Company will endeavor to complete the work within the estimated timeframe. However, completion dates are estimates only, and the Company is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its control.  

8. Warranty and Liability

– The Company warrants that its services will be carried out with reasonable skill and care.  

– Any defects in workmanship must be reported to the Company within 7 days of the completion of the services.  

– The Company’s liability for any defective services is limited to the re-supply of those services or a refund of the cost, at the Company’s discretion.  

– The Company is not liable for any consequential or indirect losses resulting from the services provided.  

9. Title and Risk

– Ownership of goods provided remains with the Company until full payment is made by the Customer.  

– Risk in any goods passes to the Customer upon delivery or installation.

10. Termination

– Either party may terminate this agreement with 48 hours’ written notice.  

– If the Customer terminates the agreement before the work is completed, the Company reserves the right to retain any deposit or payment for services rendered up to the date of termination.  

11. Force Majeure

– The Company is not liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.  

12. Governing Law

– These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Queensland.  

13. Privacy

– The Company is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes of delivering services and will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.
